This was a great purchase for my pup in the cold weather. It helps to give her additional warmth - the fur trim around the neck is too cute!- keeps her dry when raining - although we haven't been out in a torrential downfall so don't know about an intense storm lol but who would be out in one of those? - it's easy to get on and my pup dances eagerly when she steps into it, and its easy to clean mud splashes off. Got this jacket for my American Doberman. He has to stay outside while I'm at work, but I don't like him to be out without wearing a jacket in cold weather. Every winter I buy him multiple jackets that he can remove and destroy in no time. This particular jacket zips in the back instead of velcro across the belly, therefore he can't take it off. I got this for my 9-month-old Cane Corso. He is at this time 93 lbs and still growing. I got the 6XL for him and it fits him just fine for now. He seems to like it on and is comfortable in it. He no longer shivers in the cold, rain, or snow and can move around in it just fine. I bought these coats for my rat terriers. They are well made except for the zipper. The zipper is somewhat cheap and difficult to use. That is why I gave it 4 stars. That being said for the price I am really glad I bought them. The green jacket is a 2xl and the grey is a 3xl. Ralph in green is about 18 lbs and is16” long with a 21” chest. Cody in the grey is 25 lbs, 20” long with a 22” chest. They really look cute and they were definitely warm although I do put a sweater under them.

These run quite small. I had to reorder a 5X for a 60# hound mix. Lucy is half cur/half pit. She looks like a standard cur hound. Her head and jaw is just a bit bigger. She has no undercoat (like a pit) and doesn't like to go outside in the winter due to the cold. This jacket is INCREDIBLY WARM! And she LOVES it! She is so excited when I get it out! We have learned how to put in on fairly efficiently, though she gets antsy and wriggles around when I zip it up. :D This is an awesome product.

I loved this jacket for the first few months we had it. Had a few issues with the zipper and ended up cutting the extra fabric so it wouldn't get caught in the zip. Out of the blue one day on a walk the zipper ripped open on his back, I wasn't able to fix it. Jacket wasn't tight on my dog, it just gave way. The harness has held up well. Only negative.there are little toggles in a couple of places to snug the fit up. The coat came with the toggles not put on correctly, not able to use them. This was a well-made jacket that seemed very nice, but didn't fit my dog. He's smaller but has a large chest. Getting a size that fit his chest ended up meaning the jacket was much too long. We had to return it sadly!

I would NOT recommend this product at all. The zipper started malfunctioning a little over a month after purchase. And now it won't zip at all and just continues to split as you try to use it. Total waste of money. My dog and I are highly disappointed especially because this item wasn't cheap.

The zipper was cheap and plastic and too little for the coat. It should have had a stronger metal zipper. It kept getting stuck on the fabric. We bought the 4X for our medical sized dog and it was too tight. Would not recommend this item to anyone.

I bought this to replace one I bought a year ago because the zipper broke on the first one. Within a month of purchase, the zipper on this new one also broke. It’s unfortunate because it is difficult to find a jacket with the harness built-in.

We have a thin skinned very active dog and a backyard full of holly bushes.
