Not sure if it was sent that way or one of them slipped out of the corner of the box (I looked under the flaps to make sure they weren't hanging loose in the box) but only received 4 of the 5 needles in the pack. Anyone can look at the packaging and see that the needles just slide out of the box holder. Should have been wrapped or taped to keep them together. Of course they weren't expensive, but I don't have enough needles. And if you're knitting small things like socks, you'll need all 5…

Never had a problem with Boye in fact they were my favorite brand prior to this purchase. Right from the start, the tips of one of the DPNs began to chip and separate from the rest of the needle, a feat I didn't think was possible as I assumed it was a solid piece of aluminum. Super dissatisfied and probably haven't bought Boye needles for a long time. Luckily it was a set of five, and I usually only make my socks in fours, but it's still annoying and frustrating.

I like Boye, I have bought many needles from this brand. I have just received these needles and would like to say that the kit actually comes with 5 needles, not 4. I needed 5 DPNs for my project but I knew most kits only come with 4 needles as shown in the picture accompanying this product , I ordered 2 sets. Now that they've both arrived I can see there are 5 needles in each set. If I had known that I wouldn't have ordered the second one, but now I might take it just in case. I hope this…
