Stainless steel Plunger body. Stainless steel pin and pull ring. American Standard Series 303. Has a 0.156โ€ dia pin with a 1โ„4-20 thread x 0.31 thread length, it is stainless steel, it has a pull ring, and this is the type A. Comes without the optional thread locking patch.

Good, but. . . Suitable for power tools and hand tools

This spring loaded plunger was ideal for a cabinet door that needed to be held securely in place to allow the mating door to latch. The only thing that worries me is the hexagon next to the ring. The hexagon "head" was only slightly larger than the outside diameter of the thread. The standard 1/4-20 washer that went over the threads was almost too big for the hex part. The hex head barely touched the washer. The hex must be a standard 7/16" in order for the 1/4-20 washers underneath to alignโ€ฆ

One of the main disadvantages of the Packout Trolley Toolbox is that the handle doesn't sit flush with the top. boxing If you're trying to shove that box in the trunk, it's a big problem. These little guys help solve that problem by making it easy to remove the handle. You simply remove the two screws holding the handle, thread the plastic with a tap that matches the threads on these spring pistons, screw them into the plastic, and then drill two slightly larger holes in the handles for theโ€ฆ

Compatible with Rolling Packout, with minor modifications.

I was able to get this to work with my Milwaukee rental package. To do this, I had to loosen the screw that held the handle in place. I then drilled out the pilot hole with a 3/16 bit. My head was too thick for the hole after it started screwing in. The nut almost got stuck because I couldn't drive it deep enough. So learn from my mistake and enlarge the hole around the pilot hole. A few turns of a 1/2" drill bit or plenty for me. I removed the key fob ring from the quick release pins. Used aโ€ฆ
