These are great knives for the pricepoint. The blades are 5Cr15MoV stainless steel hardened to Rockwell C58, which is just about the sweet spot for a high chrome steel blade and will hold an edge very well. High quality steak knives have sharp edges that slice through steak like butter. Heavy and beautifully designed knives, especially for the perfectly weighted handles, feel very comfortable when using. High end products with a good price. The best part of this knife is the weight balance. When you have it in your hand, you know what I am talking about. The length and weigh are just right, the handle is ergonomic, the blade is sharp out of the box (by the way, the box itself is pretty nice). It cuts the meat effortlessly, although it is recommended noting cutting on hard surfaces like stoneware, it looks totally fine with me, it doesn’t leave marks on the stoneware plate and it doesn’t get dull at all.

I’m really impressed with these knives! I put them through the dishwasher before using them to sanitize, and they came out no problem. The grip is solid and sturdy. Overall, great knife set!

I needed a nice set of steak knives. So far, these have worked very well. I have not tried it with chicken yet but with steak, it cuts very nicely and very smooth. No ragged edge cuts or lots of pressure to cut. Nice weight to knife, not too heavy, not too light.

We have several knives with handle inlays and thought these Pickwill steak knives would be the perfect complement. Unfortunately, although the cutting ability is impressive, the handle inlay quality was not a good match for us. However, the good news is that we instead have now tried another Pickwell model that is beautiful and well made. All of the Pickwell knives are nicely boxed for gifting. I just tried these new steak knives last night wit some steaks I cooked out on the grill. Sharp out of the box and nice heavier design. These cut through steaks very easy and hope they continue to hold their sharp edge. Time will tell. I did put them in the dishwasher and they came out nice with no rust which some cheaper ones tend to do. I would highly recommend these.

These are super little knives. Love these!They are serrated on both sides of the blade so they cut rather than tear the meat as so many of the inexpensive ones do. They are sharp, comfortable to hold, and can be put in the dishwasher. What's not to like? Also, I have many compliments from men in the family who don't usually do that sort of thing if they even notice at all!

We've been using these steak knives or more generally a good serrated table knife for several weeks now. They have a great feel in the hand and cut various food items effortlessly. We've tried more inexpensive knives and the experience was not satisfying. We finally have the knives we've been looking for.
