MacBook Pro 15” Worked but was wrong fit

I read the reviews carefully and it said it should fit my model of MacBook Pro. Technically the wires were too far to the left. I connected the wires first and then had to manipulate the battery to sit flush. Kit and directions were great but I wish the wire harness was in the right place. I couldn’t install 4 of the screws to lock it in place because it was off from where the original battery sits. Powered on great.

Good Battery at a Great Price.

I purchased two of these so I could replace the batteries in two of my 2017 15-inch Core i7 MacBook Pro a1398 unit, one with the dual video cards. Although I’ve built hundreds of PCs, I’d never even opened the back of a MacBook. Short story, I did it; pretty easy. First one took me a little bit longer, second was like, 15-20 minutes. Couldn't be happier!

I have a Mid 2014 (A1398) 15" Macbook Pro that was shutting down at 98% battery charge, so obviously I needed a new battery. I was considering taking it to an Apple store, but $250 seemed excessive and I thought I would give replacing it myself a go. Nothing is more frustrating than your battery going out on a perfectly good mac book. That is why we buy macs they even outlast the battery technology. Laptop stuck in reboot loop

I suspect that it is not charging properly. It was able to successfully turn on immediately after installation, but the next day it got stuck in a reboot loop. When unplugged it's completely unresponsive. Very disappointing.As a side note - removing the existing battery is a pain, but I don't fault the product for that.

Kit is very complete.

Thorough instructions. That's my feedback. This installation takes some doing, mostly because of the adhesive under the old battery.
