The perfect little dish for custards, soups, you name it. The reason I purchased this product is because it's made of porcelain and stands up well in baking. Used them over Thanksgiving. I usually use a recipe for 2 pumpkin pies, and create one large pie from it. I used the remaining filling in these ramekins. They baked the custard to perfection. Those family members who don't like pie crust opted for the pumpkin filled ramekins.

Ordered these to start making some desserts, as well as to have some small dishes for putting ingredients in while cooking meals. I'm happy to say they've been great so far - I've made some chocolate lava cakes and some salted caramel custard in them (thanks Chef John / Food Wishes). These are great for their classic look and varied sizes. One of my kids dropped one in the sink and it did not break! The product may not be suitable for use with people with physical disabilities or limitations.
