I like the size because it meets two of my needs. It works on a thin material face mask and is also big enough for paracord when you insert it with a nail - it's a bit tight but works great once you insert it. I like the size and the quality seems good.

I was fed up with paper masks so I bought some sheet masks. The problem is that the earbuds stretch. These cord closures work great and since they are rounded they don't hurt your ears. A friend of mine has a preschooler who was having trouble wearing a mask to school, but giving her some of these solved the problem!

I use these to create a loop that I use to regulate the tension of the wrap cords. I use a paper clip bent into a hook to pull a slightly larger cord and thread it through the cord lock and then tie a knot in the short end. I can use one at each end of the line and by shortening the loop through the cord lock I can wrap the cord neatly around the tarp. Works for my use. I'll probably find more uses!

I have a bunch of masks that have ties that go around the ears and then behind the head. These are great masks but they start to sag after a few washes. I received these cord locks and they are perfect for what I need. Now my masks fit again. Also, they seem to work well in the washer and dryer. Nothing broke, melted or rusted after 2-3 days of washing.

I wanted to use these to put on my kids' mask protectors/cords to make them adjustable.
