Good Deal Electronics

These inexpensive thermal pads seem to reduce the peak temperatures of NVMe and M.2 SATA SSDs well if you have a decent heatsink and airflow. You get a variety of thicknesses (1mm is most convenient) and these are perfect for m.2 2280 SSDs, although you can cut them smaller if needed. BUT don't expect them to hold your heatsink in place - they are lubricated and not sticky enough to hold your heatsink. They're just meant to transfer heat rather than using thermal paste. Their transmission…

Ideal for hot NVME drives.

I used this, a low profile copper heatsink and a 40mm Noctua fan to bring the temperature of my Samsung 970 Evo m.2 NVME drive down to over 20 degrees Celsius. I hit the high 80's when it was on the back of an Asus Z97i-Plus motherboard in a Mini-ITX case with little rear airflow. And now it's up to a maximum of 62C. Pretty big thermal pads if you ask me. And I have extra features for my GPU.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • damaged

The pads don't have 6W/mK, but 1-2W. Do not use for GPUs

These appear to be typical 1.2w blue pads. I'm not sure what they will be good for, but certainly not for high temperature applications like VRAM on GPUs. They seem to work in winter temperatures but in the summer heat these pads failed in 4 of my GPUs in 2 days or less. I wouldn't buy them if they were advertised at exactly 1-2 watts/µK.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Anyone who complains that thermal pads don't stick: They shouldn't be.

Make sure the chips are properly cleaned before use. If it is not a new surface, use rubbing alcohol and a cotton cloth to remove any oily residue. It may need a little scrubbing with an eraser to remove everything. It's a little sticky so it will likely stay in place if you move the drive/device, but I still recommend laying the element down, attaching the spacer, and then mounting the heatsink on top. radiator screws before moving the card. After cutting a strip into smaller pieces to replace

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Disappear

Good thermal pads, temperature drop of 4-5 degrees Celsius

I used these to replace the stock pads on my Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 8GB. The VRM temperature increased from a maximum of about 79 degrees Celsius with standard pads to a maximum of about 75 degrees with these new pads. According to HWInfo64, the average VRM temperature was also about 5 degrees cooler. I ended up using just the thickest of the three sizes (1.5mm) and a total of 2 full spacers to cover all the required components (I just placed the new spacers where the old ones were). The pads…

Pros
  • Suitable for control board, motor, electronics, auto mechanics, host computer, laptop, DVD, VCD, cover, set-top box, LED IC SMD DIP and all cooling modules
Cons
  • White color only available

I don't usually give 5 stars. Here is history.

This product deserves 5 stars on all counts. I'm so happy I can scream! A few years ago, after much research, I bought a *brand new* Roku 4 Media Player (4400R). From day one he had serious problems with overheating. You couldn't watch a movie without blocking it. It's been in the closet ever since. Fast forward to this week: I've decided to ditch the Roku 4 player; But before I did that, I took it apart and found that the OEM thermal pad was very small - about the size of my pinky fingernail…

Pros
  • Excellent thermal conductivity: Made of thermal silica gel with 6.0 W/Mk thermal conductivity
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

I installed a Samsung EVO 500GB NVMe on my Dell G5 and it got very hot during high load (74C) testing. I bought these thermal pads because my laptop didn't have much room for a heatsink (heat spreader) and I noticed that part of the problem was the heat shield/spreader that was originally installed over the 125GB SATA NVMe (this POS drive was only transferring at around 43GB/s - if you have this laptop replace it ASAP) didn't fit my new Samsung EVO NVMe perfectly. This didn't effectively remove

Pros
  • Easy to install, you can choose the most suitable thickness and cut it to the size you need. Great replacement for traditional heatsink grease
Cons
  • Not sure
