Far from original quality

Doesn't look OEM to me. The factory I pulled out was much heavier. It said a temperature of 180. It had a US stamp on it. It was written 55 mm. This was light and cheap. It does not indicate the country of origin or the temperature. If I could have seen it first, I would never have bought it.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Great product at a good price

Great product at a good price. My check engine light stayed on on my Cobalt for a while thinking it was the coolant temp sensor. I did a little research and found that most likely the thermostat was the one that came on at the same time my CEL on my AC stopped getting cold. Replaced the thermostat which took about 30 minutes and the car is fine again with the AC blowing cold.

  • Great design

Lack of air conditioning and zero temperature fixed

After replacement. My thermostat temp sensor still had the temp drop to zero and the air conditioner turned off. After reading the reviews here, I've decided that the problem is most likely in the thermostat. In 20 minutes I changed the head to 10 and 2 extensions. The car immediately warmed up faster to 183 and the air conditioning works again. Just glad the bad standard thermostat is always open instead of closed. Amazing value compared to store manufacture.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Reliability

Perfect fit, great price

Genuine GM OEM, looks exactly like the still running unit I replaced. Didn't want to risk generic branding as there are too many reviews for a quick failure. The part is cheap, better use OEM. The GM theme is quite different from the 3rd party themes and has worked for over 100,000 with no issues! Mine came in sealed packaging in a GM box. There were no numbers on the part like on the original. Made in Mexico...it's a genuine product. Laugh if you want, but the quality of Mexican car parts is…

Fits Chevrolet Malibu 2.4L 4 Cylinder 2010

Works well for Chevrolet Malibu 2.4L 4 Cylinder 2010 onwards. I'll update this if it fails. A NOTICE. When your car starts and the temperature gauge drops to zero and the air conditioner starts blowing heavily, don't immediately think it's a thermostat. In my case it turned out to be a connector connected to the engine coolant temperature sensor (right next to the thermostat). It was broken and had no solid connection, had to put a new plug in and now it works great. Although if the connection…

I bought an ACdelco thermostat on 3/11/21 today 11/10/21 with a 24 month warranty, the part failed before the manufacturers warranty expired and I called Revain to have the defective part on warranty replaced. and they have stated that they do not provide 30 day warranty replacement for auto parts as their policy is 30 days. However, the lengthy description of the details states that Acdelco's warranty claims are handled through retailers, which has always been the case in the US. You go to a…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Functionality

I recently bought an HHR from the first owner and the thermostat failed almost immediately. used to the cars of the 80's, but with this machine I wanted to be more careful. glad i did it. ACDelco's new OEM thermostat is the thermostat for this car. Others tend to crash faster or cause computer problems from the start. PROBABLY it was the original and if not it was replaced before the new model. A little research revealed obvious differences, and they ALWAYS stick to the new recommendation…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Perfect fit for thermostats

I had a P0128 fault - the engine is not reaching the temperature control thermostat in my 2007 ION. To complicate things even more, when this error occurs, the fan runs all the time and the temperature gauge shows zero. I think the ECM, not knowing what the problem is (faulty temp sensor?), just assumes the worst, starts the fan and zeroes the temp sensor to get your attention. If you clear the error code, the fan and temperature sensor will work normally until the next error. The installation…
