Also check the resistance.

First make sure you try to put parts close to OME and then sometimes you need to replace the resistor and motor. My motor has burned out two resistors. The motor turned normally, so I went through two resistors. Both new are fine.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not bad

Short Life on Blower Motors

I installed this unit in a 2004 Tahoe in August 2017 after removing the original faulty installation. This unit failed after making a whining noise for a month. The device is only 2 years old. The original lasted 13 years. Although it arrived in an AC Delco box marked "Made in the USA", the unit was made in Korea. This unit is not as shown and is not an OEM part. Don't buy this

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • No Instructions

Easy installation. Lots of money saved.

I just installed this unit to replace the original (squeaky) fan motor in my 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD (131,000). It took about fifteen minutes to pull the old one out and install this one. Everything seems to be working fine. The GMC dealer here in Denton, Texas offered me $250 for the fan motor and $175 for the installation. One more thing, Revain Delivery tells me that the delivery of this device will be delayed by at least one day. I don't think they know they've already delivered it.

Good quality, easy to replace

Perfect replacement for a noisy fan. Did it myself in 15 minutes. The fan is located under the glove box. Remove the plastic kick bar, simply unscrew the old fan and screw in the new one, connect the wires and check the AC power before replacing the kick bar. Some fans rotate in a different direction than the old ones, especially if an aftermarket fan was used like in my case. Also check the resistance of the fan motor if the old fan doesn't work at all. The resistor is also easy to replace and

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Fair

Our AC fan failed so we bought this one. After three weeks I noticed that it turns off for a few seconds and then starts working again. In the fourth week it disappears for a few minutes. Unfortunately, I was working out of town when I started having problems. I finally got home and see I only had 30 days and I just missed the window to come back. This is how we sweat in the car in Georgia in mid-July. I won't buy anymore.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Fits perfectly! I had no problems installing the fan.

Perfect fit! I had no problems installing the motor. When installing, just look under the dashboard and you will find there is a key there. This will help you with correct alignment before installing the motor. I would also recommend checking the harness connector connected to the resistor node that powers the fan. If you see signs of the pins overheating, you should also replace the connector. My connector showed severe thermal damage. Screwing is not that difficult if you understand the…

Perfect fit for my 2005 Chevy Tahoe LT

I just replaced the fan motor resistor module and thought I would replace the fan as well. Maybe it was unnecessary but it wasn't that expensive so why not. The resistor module I purchased from Revain (G008R Aftermarket Heater and A/C Fan Motor Resistor Module for Chevy Silverado Tahoe Suburban GMC Sierra Yukon (replaces #4P1516 MT1805 RU-631 JA1639 BMR34) worked well for my 2005 Chevy Tahoe LT with automatic climate control ...since it was plug and play. So was this fan. I took it apart…

2006 GMC Sierra W/T

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra W/T, 5 speed, manual window, regular cab, 6.5 foot bed. Received the fan motor today 7/16/15, this fan motor is bolted on not bolted and the resistor is a 4 hole resistor not 2 holes. It took about 3 minutes to connect the resistor connector to the fan motor, screw the fan motor under the dash, screw in the 2 screws for the resistor and connect the spare 7-wire black and white pigtail to the resistor. The second summer melted in my resistance and braid. Searched some…
