Looks good, works.: Converter bridging magnets

I change the solenoids every time the trance is serviced. I service my trans every 2-3 years. They work well and if you drop the pan they are easy to replace.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • The list is long.

OEM connects and works.

This is an OEM identical to the one it replaced and is working. You don't have to worry about the quality of cheap brand name substitutes. At this price it's a great value compared to the aftermarket.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Very expensive

The car shifts better. Hiccups gone

2003 Envot SLT. My transmission showed signs of a torque converter jump between 50-70. I bought a 4L60EHD2 gear set and this torque converter clutch. solenoid. Only with 2 switching magnets. The car shifts better. The hiccups are gone.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Mostly OK, but...

Shifts Like New Again

I was searching and watching a few videos on YouTube when my 2002 Silverado with 170,000 miles started having trouble shifting. Turns out these solenoids are often the culprit. All four solenoids replaced and the box is like new again.

Pros
  • Hands Free

Wrong part for my 4L80E gearbox.

That said it was for my 1993 Chevy G30 Van 4L80e TCC Solenoid but it wasn't. Please verify part numbers before ordering parts. If you can get it from the original part, do so. I didn't get a chance to do that before ordering. 3 stars only because of the fast delivery.

Pros
  • Best in the Niche

Works great, but read the full review

My photo shows the old solenoid that this one replaced. Not sure why it broke but this part fixed my P1860 code on a 2000 S10 with a 4l60e transmission. The torque converter didn't lock up properly in overdrive because the old solenoid fell apart. A very simple task for a car enthusiast.*** PSA. Don't repeat my mistake** The two transmission pan bolts also hold the shifter bracket in place. After loosening the shifter, first remove those 2 bolts and lower the caliper while the lever is still in

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

The best way to solve my problem is Transmission and parts

2004 Chevy Venture. I bought this caravan about a year ago. After about a month, the transsexual started acting weird, mainly when taking off and going from 3rd to 4th. You know that sound. But it won't always be like that, so I've never done anything about it. I bought a new oil and filter, thinking that would fix the problem, but I couldn't change them. So over time it seems to be getting worse here and there. So, a few weeks ago, she suddenly started acting really weird. The main problem was
