Easy installation of the product noticed an improvement in throttle response for an older 09 Silverado 5.3L, also helped clear the accelerator pedal alarm code.

OEM, Factory, Delco item, given to lowest bidder. Still high quality, great part and direct replacement. Too bad I'm not the mechanic I thought I was. It was the wiring harness that came loose and I was wondering why my old one was working fine but was still having trouble with the truck! However, exchanged it because I already had it and it works great.

My brother's Silverado was losing power and throttle response. I got a quote from a Chevy dealer for this part and at my price it was still over $100. So I ordered it because I wanted to try it. Installation is simple, two screws and one connector, no programming required. I replaced this pedal with his old one in about 10 minutes and his truck was roadworthy and after about a month it was still working perfectly.

This product fits my car well. I had a problem with low engine power. This didn't fix the problem but did fix some codes associated with a much cheaper aftermarket pedal. Go OEM and save yourself the headache of cheaper parts. If you have an accelerator pedal, agree or disagree, the problem is most likely a faulty throttle body interconnect wire, not the part causing your problems. But this pedal is definitely a good idea to try first since this part only takes 10 minutes.
