Works well but I'm still having problems with my password

Works well but I'm still having problems with my password. You won't be able to retrain. It may be related to my remote starter bypass module. Let's get to the installer.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Works well to solve ignition lock problems

This item worked as advertised. I added it in combination with a new lock cylinder to solve the Passlock security lock issue on my Impala. So far no more failures.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Appearance

Excellent Genuine GM Part

Excellent Genuine GM Part. But always remember whose part spoiled her. I also note that the first one sent was defective and I had to send it back. The second was adorable.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

MUCH better than the leading aftermarket brand

Works great, MUCH better than the leading aftermarket brand. If you're hesitating between this and a cheaper aftermarket alternative, trust me, buy these or you'll be getting the job done again soon.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Fixed electrical issues in my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero dashboard

All dashboards and windows on my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero were working at random times. After getting a repair quote for about $500, I decided to replace it myself. I found a great video here on Youtube: [.]the car was repaired in just over an hour.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Double for this review. First Edition 2001

Double the size for this review. The first problem with the 2001 Chevy Malibu was an anti-theft and security issue. It was the password and the new key insert housing fixed that. No more waiting 10 minutes to restart your car. A few years after the replacement, occasional electrical problems began to appear. Please see what issues others have reported troubleshooting this article as ours were identical. This locking magnet ignition switch has eliminated all of these problems so far. Will be…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

It's part of ACDelco!

I hooked this up to an ACDelco D1493F ignition and cylinder swap. I hope this can solve my Pontiac Grand AM warning light issue! This part looks and feels solid. With the lock, cylinder and this assembly fully assembled (in my hands but not in the car yet) it feels solid and sounds like all the electrical shifts are working fine. Looks and feels like a quality piece. This ACDelco D1432D has the GM no. 22670487 (according to the label on the ACDelco box). Warning. There are no instructions in…

Pros
  • Cool product

  • Something different

2002 Olds Alero PassLock Ignition Lock Fix

We are most likely looking for a solution to the dreaded PassLock problem. From time to time my 2002 Olds Alero (97,000 miles) would make multiple attempts to start as if the engine was starving of fuel. And one of the days when I left Cosco, the car stopped on the way. Although I'm a humble shop mechanic with auto repair experience and do a lot of maintenance on my cars, I brought this to my favorite local shop. They replaced the fuel pump and said it was dead which I suspected and why I took…

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Bad Instructions
