    This is for a Saturn S Series

    I have code P440 on my 2002 SC2. I installed one of these and after a few miles the check engine light went out. This may or may not happen to your P440 as the gas cap is just one of at least five issues that this code can cause. The lid is well made and durable. It doesn't feel or look flimsy like the usual replacement parts. The case is made in Germany.

    Simple and perfect fit

    Perfect for 2003 vue. Had an engine service turned on because of the gas cap. Easy installation. After installation, disconnect both the negative and positive battery cables (I disconnected the negative first but for some reason that didn't reset the ECU so I disconnected both the positive and negative for ten minutes), to reset the ecu and the engine light gone. Acdelco are genuine GM parts and you can't go wrong with Acdelco parts!

    It's plug and play, except for one small detail. 2003 Saturn Vue

    Fits my 2003 Saturn Vue well and snugly. I got the vaporizer code (stupid dashlight) almost every day. No wonder when you look at the cracked seal on the old one! It should be noted that this is plug n play, except I had to cut the included mounting pin out of the fishtail and reuse the old one. The one that was delivered was too big. So don't throw away the old clasp right away ;)

    Great Deal - Caps

    I've used an aftermarket gas cap for the past few years and always found it wasn't the same. A week ago it became more difficult to remove the aftermarket cap when filling up. Also, the gasket took the longest to rot, so it's time to replace it. After installing the OEM cover I just felt good. It was right. Also one of the simplest wired gas caps.

    When my 1998 Saturn SL1 "Check Engine" light came on, I was expecting something serious. I mean the car is almost 20 years old right? It turned out I needed a new gas cap and the mechanic suggested I buy one of these online rather than charging a premium for a factory replacement. I was a little skeptical but I did it and it actually worked just as well as the original (I mean when the original worked). The "Check Engine" light went off, everything is fine.

    Fit & Ease of Use

    I didn't expect this gas cap to fit as well and perform better than the original OEM equipment from The Manufactory Our new gas cap fits well and snaps in place better than the original. The old gas cap had 9 breaks in the rubber O-ring so it had to be replaced. My OBD2 reports I have 19lbs of pressure in the gas tank so no gas vapors coming out of the fuel tank, a great way to conserve air, we breathe through the gas vapors coming out of the gas tank. I strongly recommend others to buy thisโ€ฆ

    Perfect fit for 2005 Saturn Vue

    I ordered this for my 2005 Vue which suddenly got a service engine which soon caught fire, never seen before. Looked it up on the internet and found that most people fixed it with a new gas cap. I ordered this GM part and found it to fit perfectly. Actually stronger than the original. Definitely disconnected the ground from the battery, dropped the light and the viola! The warning is gone and the machine works normally. It has a stationery pin to attach the cord to the car, just insert the oldโ€ฆ

    Fixed my runaway problem!

    I have JUST received my new (used) 2005 Saturn Vue 6 and was greeted by the 'Check Engine' light. I know my uncle waited everything before handing me the keys so I was curious what it could be. Took it to Advanced Auto and ran a diagnostic test which found an emissions issue. Shit! I need this car serviced and I can't go wrong with the emissions! Husband suggested YouTube and lo and behold I found the problem! Obviously you absolutely NEED a Saturn factory gas cap. They make a real seal aroundโ€ฆ
