Equipped with 98% multi-pass filtering efficiency at 25-30 microns for excellent filtering capabilities. Has a cellulose media that traps particles 1/3 the width of human hair to help ensure a clean supply of oil to engine components. Has a burst-strength five times greater than most engine oil operating pressures after the oil reaches operating temperatures (as long as the normal engine oil operating pressure is not greater than 51psi), for enhanced durability. Meets application coverage for 98% of all cars, light duty trucks, and sport utility vehicles, both foreign and domestic, to fit a wide range of vehicles. Some ACDelco GM Original Equipment parts may have formerly appeared as GM Genuine Parts (OE) or ACDelco Professional. Good original filter ACDelco

Excellent filter unfortunately does not fit the truck I bought it for but will try it on another truck when I need to change the oil.

high filter. Good Quality

Good AC Delco Oil Filter made in USA. Holds 2 liters of oil. Fits well. Make sure you have room for extra height. May work with some headers. I use stock exhaust manifolds.

I grew up with ACDelco

I love the ACDelco brand! I grew up with them when I was an oil change technician in high school. This is a good filter, it has many uses. As a result, your engine runs much more quietly. Oops, I meant cleaner.

Does what it's supposed to do

Mounts to remote oil block. This filter is slightly smaller than the Purolator L40084 (both are shorter, maybe an inch, and the diameter is about 1/2 inch smaller). However, this does not affect the volume that much.

Great filter if you have the space

I've used these filters on Chevy big block and small block engines since the 1970's. I even have a parts cleaner that I modified to use one of these filters. They have a lot more surface area than short filters and add some volume to your lubrication system, which is never a bad thing. worth your money!

Additional cooling and capacity

I have been using these filters on a Chevy 454 and 1990 454 for over 10 years with great results. Both systems run through an additional oil cooler system made by me and keep the oil temperature at a lower level with the additional filter capacity. I'm glad I found her on Revain as I couldn't find her locally. Now I plan to put them on a 2004 C5500 8.1 liter chassis.

You must ensure you have clearance for your specific vehicle before moving to the normal recommended short version

I use these filters instead of the standard short version on both my classic K10 truck and the big block Corvette. . The nearly double filter media keeps the oil looking new for much longer and also adds almost a full liter to the usual 5 liter capacity of both cars. Both cars are equipped with modified high-performance engines, so the extra oil is a plus. You must ensure you have the registration for your specific vehicle before switching to the normal recommended short version. In my…
