Acer America Corp 1280X1024 IPS 19", 60Hz, ‎V196L Bb Review

I use it instead of a digital picture frame with a Raspberry Pi as driver. This is the best digital photo frame I have ever seen or owned. A very good quality. Great for my purposes, as I mostly shoot in 4:3 format.

Bought two. The colors were wrong. Very red, and one of them could not be adjusted. The other was ok but I wouldn't recommend it.

Much better picture quality than the 3 year old ACER it replaced. I was surprised that it didn't have an audio input or built-in speakers like the unit (same model number) it was bought to replace.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of this item. I'm not very interested in widescreen monitors for several reasons. This fits the bill. Beautiful color and brightness. Would buy again.

It's nice to find a new 19-inch monitor to replace a very old monitor in a room that doesn't accommodate newer widescreen monitors.

It was used for the first time and didn't work properly and was sent back. It didn't say "used" anywhere. When I returned it I only received a $106 refund but I paid $129. I assume they don't tell you it's used to make money off shipping and/or taxes. The star rating is also wrong because you cannot leave a negative rating. A one star rating means -10 stars.

We all have two monitors in the office and try to keep them the same. However, I had a workstation with an old Staples brand monitor. We already had one of these Acer monitors, so I wrote down the model number and looked for the exact same one. Found on Raven! A bit pricey for an older monitor but it was exactly what I wanted. Acer is a big name in the PC industry and this monitor didn't disappoint.
