This filter was very easy to connect directly to my 6" built-in fan. It comes with two pre-filters so you can choose white or black and have a spare. Just received this last week or so because my new tent was starting to smell loud. It is housed in a 5 x 3 x 6.5 foot tent with an AC Infinity Cloudline T-6 fan connected a few feet to a small basement window on the ground floor.
