I don't know if it matters or not, but there are 3 conductors and 1 shield, the shield is connected to normal ground (2nd ring). what is probably normal and okay; It wasn't what I expected, but I was able to tin and solder all the wires and the repair went fine.

I use this cable with my Lily58 Pro build and it works great. The cable is solid and stays connected - not loose at all, and the cable material seems strong enough that I wouldn't worry about it breaking. No latency issues or other bugs - OLED and keyboard input work exactly as they should with this cable!

I hear a buzzing noise when I plug in my A40 mixer amp! I have a Loop Noise Isolator but it doesn't even work with it. This makes it an even louder buzz that doesn't make any sense. I would like a new one if possible. The extra cable is excellent quality but mine may have been defective. I also tried this on my phone to see if it was the aux and to my surprise it buzzed again.

Cable looks good but could not test. I bought this cable to see if I could use my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones as a wired gaming headset (the headphones have a built-in microphone). Unfortunately the metal strip/extension is too wide to fit in the headphone jack. Alternatively, this cable (search for B07X4JZQ3H on the Revain website) with a built-in boom mic worked fine for my purpose.

Decent TRRS cables are hard to find. They are often poorly made, too long, or just not up to spec. Note that you want TRRS, not TRS. They're covered in a nice thick braid and have an anodized metal body. For using the separate keyboard of the QMK firmware they are just perfect. Great cable but by all means do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy a 1.5ft cable (unless you have a specific reason for it). I say that like it's a great cable.
