I bought this for my MacBook Pro to easily transfer pictures from my SD card. I have to say it works perfectly. Just plug it in and you're good to go.

The thing works. It's a great little imitation, if someone got their hands on this thing they would know it wasn't an Apple product but who cares because it gets the job done. The plastic feels cheap and the cable is stiff.

Just received and tested this product to upload photos from a 64GB SD card to my new MacBook Air with USB-C ports. It transferred images quickly, so it did what it was designed to do. My only complaint is that the USB-C connector is too tight. It's a bit tricky to plug into my MBA's port and very difficult to unplug (the white cover on the plug came off even after a few tugs. Cosmetically, but that was on first use). This adapter costs $10 and transfers photos quickly, but not if it damages one

I bought this as an inexpensive way to use SD cards on my MacBook. Used it for the first time yesterday. It was recognized immediately and uploaded my photos with no problems. I also like that it's small/light enough to fit in my camera bag and looks like an old white Mac.

This product was received the next day and before the estimated two day prime time! I needed a quick option for my new MacBook Pro as all my previous files were stored on old SD cards and I didn't have a USB-C option at the time.
