The NuScan 4100 is made with antimicrobial material which prevents the growth of harmful bacteria and protects against the buildup germs between washings. Requires 3 attempts

It takes at least 3 attempts to actually scan the barcode. We eventually replaced it with a wired scanner that detects it on the first try, every time.
