NOT waterproof Suitable for adhesives, sealants and lubricants

The description of this product states that it can be used in the shower and that it is waterproof. However, today part of the strip came loose and when I looked underneath I saw black mold. I immediately removed all of the products from the shower and found black mold growing around them. As you know, disinfectant cleaners or bleach cleaners are hard to come by these days so I don't know what to do with them.

Good idea that just doesn't work or look good

So I really wanted it to work and look good but it doesn't. Every corner will look terrible. Now there's a way to make anything that isn't a perfectly straight line. It just doesn't look good. If you think this is a clean alternative to applying a coat of grout or sealer, I promise you it isn't. It looks awful and doesn't even seal the surface completely allowing water to get underneath. All in all a waste of time and money. I picked it up the same day to apply the limestone. Save your money…

Pros
  • Sealing tape
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Doesn't stay in the toilet

I added this next to the toilet as there are boys in my house who go to the toilet sometimes. The original seal has failed due to over cleaning. The sealer looked promising when I first applied it, but soon there was a noticeable gap between the toilet and the sealer. It took a bit of effort to get around the curve of the toilet, but the handle wasn't strong enough to hold it in place. Look for another brand if you want to use it for your toilet. If you found my review helpful, please vote so…

Pros
  • Adhesives, sealants and lubricants
Cons
  • High price

Not what I was hoping for.

After reading the reviews of this self-adhesive sealant, I was hoping that the product would be better. Within the last month of installing it in the shower it came loose and now it's a pain. I was able to use it in our kitchen and it works well in that area, but my main reason for buying it was for the shower! This failed and isn't working as I hoped! Buy something different and learn something better.
