The shoes were very difficult to put on and lace up tight as the laces went in and out of two holes for each eyelet. After a lot of frustration, I completely unlaced the shoes and redid the lacing so that the laces only went through one of the holes. It's better, but still uncomfortable. I liked my old barricades. Solematch Bounce, not so much.

It was a steal from $120 to $56 since it was the last pair. Bought this for my son and I have this pair for myself too. The only thing about this style is that it's a bit longer in the toe area, but otherwise a good shoe with good cushioning.

The shoes look great and at a great price. Unfortunately, the rubber on the inside of the shoe digs into the ball of the foot, making it unwearable. Maybe it's ok if you have narrow feet. But I would hesitate. Returned.

Very small. Our previous ones were great! They were the same size but even when pulled up they were different sizes even with the same tag.

The Soulmatch shoes are great but they are a bit narrower than the Barricade which used to be adidas tennis shoes. Excellent shoe, stops any ankle roll!.

These shoes were immediately comfortable. I've worn them for cucumber balls about a dozen times, both indoors and out, and they're great. Very stable. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

I never write tennis shoe reviews because most of them are just doing their job. However, my internal pad along the heel hurts due to the lack of support this shoe has. Adidas failed as they offered a 6 month guarantee on all their shoes and this pair is the epitome of that.

I think it's a well tailored shoe. You may need to get used to the feel of the shoe as the sole moves away from the shoe a bit for the "bounce" effect. The upper is soft and not very durable so it will wear out.

The company says it's for hard courts but after buying a pair to try because Adidas stopped making barricades. After the match, I felt the Solematch Bounce needed more cushioning, so for hard courts I turned to the New Balance Fresh Foam Lav. For me this is the closest thing to Barricades having tried other brands. Adidas, you lost a ten-year-old customer.

My teenage son wears these to play tennis - second pair we have bought and they have lasted longer than any others we have tried.

The shoes were surprisingly cheaper at Revain than at TW so I bought them here instead. I bought these for my nephew and he loves them. He says they're comfortable and lighter than his other shoes. He's not very picky, so I can't say for sure. Colors are good for a simple guy.
