Works well for its intended purpose. Easy to use, holds up a thick blackout curtain and seems quite sturdy. I take it off everyday to let the light in through the window and it's holding up well.

The rod consists of two components. Not like in the photo. Easy enough to assemble but very thin. Had to use both to hold two curtains. If you stretch too much and create enough tension to hold you in place. You can see that they start to bend and the crossing.

I had to return them as I thought they were broken but after playing with them I was able to figure out how they work so I didn't have to return them on the ends. They fit what I need them for. I always prefer black curtain rods to white ones for a change.

This is a very thin rod. However, it seems to be holding my light curtain very well, it stretches perfectly for the pressure between the two sides of the window seal. It's easy to install. Even if he doesn't look strong, he seems to be. If you are looking for an attractive curtain rod, this is not it.

So the adjustable curtain rod does not adjust to a minimum of 28" as stated in the description. When I first bought these only one out of two rods was successfully set to 28" so I returned the order thinking one was defective. The second time both rods failed to reach 28 inches. The product description should be adjusted to 29 inches. Return was quick but quality is average.
