I highly recommend this safety razor. This works very well. I use it on level 3 and a half. Level 4 is too aggressive for me.

I liked this razor so much that two days later I bought the Merkur Futur. I have a problem that I can't fix. blade alignment. No matter what I do, the blades are uneven. and since it's not a typical razor I can't easily detach and adjust the head. I hope Futur gets better at it!

This is one of the many Merkur Futur clones and the cheapest I could find. The rest are about twice as expensive. The only difference I can see between this and the other clones is that this one comes from China and will take about a month to get to you, but if you take your time you can save some money. I have been shaving for almost fifty years and started shaving when DE razors were the standard and not a specialty as they are today in the 21st century. Century in America and I absolutely fell in love with this gem. I have many classic double edge razors from Gillette and Schick with closed comb, open comb, twist to open, three piece, adjustable etc. but this Futur clone has become my favorite razor! The blades that came with the razor were good but when the Feather High-Stainless was placed
