Serves its purpose

They serve their purpose. One end of each cotton triangle is slightly shorter than the rest, so be careful what you pinch.

Waste of money, good for reptiles and amphibians

Worked well at first, now the return period is over and the thing no longer attracts, the lamp flops. It has a lot of play on the part where the lamp is attached so now it just slides off.

Not for me or my UV lamps. Low quality.

Not sure how many ways you can use them but for plants that grow UV lamps this is a fat zero for me. I'm in my 30s and am having trouble opening the clamps. Some parts felt cheap and flimsy.

Totally useless

Both clamps are useless. I don't understand how anyone can make them work. Bent metal parts have burrs on either side of the bolt hole that get in the way when trying to tighten the wing nut. There is no way to tighten it enough to grab the lamp.

fell into the aquarium for reptiles & amphibians

I personally do not like this product. This may have been a design on my vivarium, but after simply closing the door to the room, the reservoir FALLED throughout the fixture in the vivarium, breaking the bulb! Luckily my dragon was in his lair on the other side of the vivarium, otherwise it could have been much worse.

Not recommended for aquariums as it tends to fall off

I have aquarium lights and none of them fit these clips. I had to hammer it shut to keep it from falling and killing all my fish, but I'm still not sure if that will happen. DO NOT BUY unless you are sure it will fit (for those who make them add rubber foam for small bulbs that fit between bulb and clamp (make sure it is reasonably heat resistant for heat bulbs ))
