What can you say about a piece of metal? "You bolt them to the base of the platform and then insert the legs/supports. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey.

There really are no instructions for the product. They worked great for 6x6 blinds. The only thing I really saw as a problem was that one set of holes crossed the location of the other so I couldn't get 3 screws through the bracket.

Worth the $55 I paid, heavy duty and I trust them more on my deer stand than trying to get an angle on my feet to keep it from tipping over in the wind. I am in. I highly recommend them at this price point and I'm glad I went down this route.

As in some other reviews I received three brackets from one corner and one from the other instead of two and two. Otherwise they seem very durable, easy to use and good value for money. Used 5/16x 1 1/2 bolts to mount to a 2x6 platform and 5/16x 3 1/2 bolts to mount to posts.

I bought these a few weeks ago. Today I'm going to build my platform and put my feet up and I have 3 identical double corners and one more. There should be 2 on one side and 2 on the other side. Pretty mad now!

Initial rating was 5 stars. Great product at the best price but when I took them "all" out of the box I found I had 3 left corners and 1 right. Should have been 2 and 2. I would have sent them back but was in the middle of building my speaker stand and didn't want to waste a few weeks on it. So I angled it to the best possible angle and screwed it on. Luckily it worked. Looks stupid, but works.

I used this product to mount to a tree blind bracket 8 feet off the ground using 4 x 4 poles. They are very strong. One change I would make is to make it slightly wider by a quarter of an inch. Not only would this allow passage through the 2 x 4 braces, it would also allow for an additional half inch of sheathing going around the blinds. I haven't used it in real hunting season yet. However, I sat in the curtain to see how everything is protected.

If you don't double your 2x6 you will find that these mounts rock too much even with support every 16 inches on the center. They also didn't come with documentation to tell you what screws to use to attach everything. I used SIX 3.5" bolts with washers for the top where it connects to the 2x6 and then SIX 3" lag bolts to connect the 4x4. So to make 4 of these and double your 2x6, you will need 24 3.5" bolts/carriage bolts, 24 nuts, 72 washers and 24 3" screws.

I bought two sets to build a deer fence for me and my son. When I first received them I thought they were good quality, especially for the price. However, as soon as we started installing, the problems started. Essentially, the mounts were designed for use with real 2 x 4 and 4 lumber, not real wood you can buy from your local lumber yard that is 1/2 thinner in height and width. This made the platform a lot less stable than we thought. I would not buy again!
