Very poorly made.: Brushes

When I first touched it out of the box, the brush head fell off. Didn't even get around to using it. It's not even worth a dollar.

Pros
  • Individually wrapped.
Cons
  • Will be added later

Not As Shown: Brushes

I was expecting the bristle head to be tapered and shaped as shown in the picture. The bristles are very long and flexible. This makes it unsuitable for cleaning real parts other than dust removal or very light cleaning. I have two exactly the same.

Pros
  • Item Weight 0.500 lbs.
Cons
  • Lots of things

Exactly What I Needed - Cleaning Tools

Basket on my Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker. The Basket has ribs on the bottom to keep the tea bags on the bottom and can't be cleaned in between.I remembered using an auto parts brush in my dad's garage when I was much younger. When it arrived I tried it on a tea basket off and it works like a charm, I just have to remember not to use it for my transmission ;-) The old stylus could well move into the 21st century with improvements in ergonomics.

Pros
  • 2-1/2" (64mm) bristles, cut with a chisel and securely fastened in a seamless steel sleeve
Cons
  • Keep Calm

Not quite as described.

This is a well made brush that gets the job done. However this is not exactly as described as the photo shows the ends of the bristles and the written description indicates the bristles are chiseled. The bristle tip of my brush is dull. However, I will not be returning the brush as it suits my needs. Some users may actually need the curly end to get into small gaps. So be careful. It's also described as individually boxed, but mine came disassembled, thrown unwrapped in an airbag box. It…

Pros
  • Polypropylene bristle brush for oil, petrol, turpentine and other cleaning solutions.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Not the same as in the photo. Brushes

I expected the bristle head to be pointed and shaped like the photo. The bristles are very long and flexible. This makes it unsuitable for cleaning real parts other than dust removal or very light cleaning. I have two exactly the same.

Pros
  • Individually wrapped in leather.
Cons
  • Brief instructions

Durable Household Brush

I use this brush to clean parts in my water based solvent tank and have had good experiences with it so far. The bristles are hard and clean. The wooden handle is comfortable compared to all modern plastics. I clean components that are already clean and freshly machined or other components that have been treated with a protective layer of kosmoline.

Pros
  • Product Weight 0.500 lbs.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Just what I need for my facility

I needed a good stiff kitchen brush to clean the basket in Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker. The basket has ribs on the bottom to keep the tea bags on the ground and making it impossible to clean them in between. I remembered using an auto parts brush in my dad's garage when I was much younger. When it arrived I tried it on a tea basket and it works like a charm. I just have to remember not to use it for my transmission. ;-) The old pen could definitely move into the 21st century thanks to improved…
