The supplied 3M tape has not been used. I'm sure the tape is fine, but I bought my own HD double-sided tape and took it to town. The material is excellent! I put this on top of the back bar of my Prius to protect it from my dog's claws when getting in or out. It comes with a roll of clear tape. I marked the perimeter and then glued the tape. Where there was space, additional tape was used. Then I put a mat on it. sweet work. The rubber is thick, soft (like it's not plastic vinyl!) and very nice looking. I am 100% satisfied with the results. The installation took about 20 minutes.

To install this, simply find the center point of your bumper and center the tread at that point (there is an arrow in the center of the tread for this purpose). time and press.
