Excellent water temp sensor

Works great, love these X series sensors! The only downside is that it doesn't come with a faceplate, which is what I need. I had to buy an extra faceplate to measure the oil temp. At this price you would think they would at least have the oil temp but I can't give it 4 stars for that alone.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Poor

Original AEM box but what was inside was fake made in China.

Instead of the original AEM water temp sensor I paid for I received junk from China. When I opened the Revain shipping box. The AEM factory seal on the box was broken. Someone changed the sensors and wiring and was even kind enough to add instructions on this Chinese made junk but kept the original AEM sticker to see the photos I took. I will update my review once I get what I paid for which is a genuine AEM water temp sensor.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Don't skimp on unnamed Chinese sensors.

Just got this sensor for my car, installed it and I have to say it's pretty good. It comes with everything you need and the wiring harness is long enough to go almost anywhere in the engine bay. Easy to connect and the included instructions are pretty easy to follow. I went ahead and hooked up my OBD2 scanner, got live data for the ECT sensor and compared that reading to my AEM temp sensor and they matched perfectly. I have solid advice for anyone wanting a temperature sensor for their car…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Updates
