Use a real stand to mark the holes. Also included are screws with plastic anchors and thumb screws. The instructions say to drill a pilot hole with a 1/4" drill bit. Again, DO NOT USE! I opened the box for this rack and was impressed with its durability - it was heavy but not onerous and I found the overall construction to be pretty good and it would hold up well to washing. Considering the price of the dryer, I was hoping it would be something special and stand out in a sea of dryers. My main issue is how disgustingly dirty it was upon arrival. I am very happy with this product. I've used a giant freestanding clothes dryer in my bedroom for years and I'm finally tired of it being a fixture in my room (my laundry room is small and doesn't have room for a hanger). I never seemed to forget to remove his clothes until I needed more room for my wet clothes. This thing was ALWAYS upstairs, loaded with clothes and clogging up my space.
