My cat is 11 years old and has problems with her litter box so we bought a long bag. Because of the arthritis, I didn't want her having to jump over the edge to get into the new litter box. The door worked fine!

This is a pretty good product for the price but NOT easy to install. The instructions are not clear and easy to follow. (once you get there lol). Our FOUR barn cats seem to love it so that's all that matters!

Easy guide for those who know how to use tools. This is the second one I installed. I put it in a metal garage door and it cuts easily to fit thin metal. The locking mechanism allows stray cats stuck in the garage to escape.

The fuzzy seal around the edge of the cat door is supposed to keep the outside air out, but after a few weeks it started to peel off, after which the door stopped working. Useless because cats can't get in or out. Waste of money but just enough to ensure I can't go back.

There was no template in the box to cut the hole and the instructions for using part of the door itself resulted in the hole being too small to fit a valve. The plastic is very thin and one corner has come loose. torn but still usable as it was for indoor use only. I would not use this door from the outside. I have a feeling it will be more cracking in the elements.

I bought two things, one inside and one outside. Muggles are smart cats and they've learned to handle both, so he enters the garage and exits through one of the garage doors, and he no longer has a litter box because cats naturally prefer to do their business outside. Excellent value for money installed on 3 hollow interior doors. The locks are a little tight, but that's not a problem. There was one instance where my cat accidentally locked it but they started attacking each other as they walked by.
