It's size makes it non-standard so it covers up part of the standard hole for a deadbolt. They must have known this because they provide an unattractive plate to cover the remaining part of the deadbolt hole. If I had known this from the beginning I would have wasted my time and money. My ONLY complaint is how easily the Private/General Switch can be flipped. I have this installed on my entry door & the vibration from the door closing (hinges with springs) can make the switch flip to Private locking everyone else out. I had to put a piece of tape over the switch to keep this from happening

The product is easy to assemble. It took me roughly 20-30 minutes to set up. To have 4 different methods of security that includes finger print, key code, key card and key. I expect the only time I'll actually use the actually key is when the battery dies out unless I change it prior. There is a battery indicator on the top right corner of time gage.

The lock looks quite nice in person. Everything about the lever action feels very solid. Programming is pretty straightforward.My only real gripe is the fingerprint reader. The reader is really fussy. I've got at least a fifty percent fail rate on unlock attempts. It wouldn't be so bad if it would retry more rapidly.- If your finger is slightly off center it won't work.- Finger too damp. Won't work.- Finger too dry. Won't work.- Not enough pressure. Won't work.

FYI, you will need to drill a 3rd hole when installing this. My standard keypad door handle just had the 2 screws through the striker. I also installed it kicked, top, to the right to get the fingerprint to work. Otherwise, it was too close to the door jamb. Also, set your fingerprint when it's installed and not prior to installation. The print won't line up right. I had to redo. Just installed so we'll see if it lasts. UPDATE 11/13/22 - The fingerprint doesn't work worth crap, like my old one…
