Didn't work on my old chain. May work on new chains. I ended up using the old punch and hammer method and it worked fine. I spent 20 dollars on it.

The 2.9mm pin broke when I took it out of the case. The pins appear to be hardened but this one was over hardened resulting in a brittle pin.

Broke on first use. The pulled one didn't push the pin out, used my 30 year old and it popped the pin out right away! I'll buy an expensive one so the tool won't break the first time I use it!

Fast delivery but bits are bent. I hope they still work, if not I'll be back. To update. the chain cutting tool is bent and unusable after one use, but the riveting tool works fine

First thought that there wasn't enough anvil or something. It seemed the hit was too long for the press. Looking at it, I noticed that the first half inch of the thread was so badly cut that it wouldn't engage the screw. I was in a dilemma so I decided to shorten the punch to get to the threads that were there. Not good. He immediately pulled out the remaining threads. I had already ground the head of the chain pin so it just needed to be pushed through. Still bad. I could probably do better…
