AI Vise Piece Size 4 8Mm Review

These are heavy duty and 2 out of 4 vises work but the collet of the other 2 vises are not drilled properly. When you insert the pin into the largest vise, the pin is at a significant angle to the handle. I thought it was just a bad set and went back to buy another set and had the exact same issue. This set is cheap and you get what you pay for.

I don't know what you can use them for. My experience and intended use of a pin vise is to hold an object [like a drill bit or other small round material precisely centered] centered and somewhat secure. It's not like this. they are completely useless. At first glance they seem like a good tool, but try centering a small drill bit in a three-jaw collet that won't close in the middle - good luck.

I bought a PandaHall dowel size 30 PH, stainless steel mandrel dowel for winding wire from Revain. This was after purchasing the Mister Twister manual winder. I figured this twister would give me "clean" turns of the needle wire.
