Not good. Oil spill within 90 days.

'01 Honda Accord SE, 4-cyl. After only a few months of operation, this new distributor began to leak oil from the inner seal. Oil enters the distributor housing, flows out through a small hole in the housing and enters the engine. Seller notification and no response. A few days later I requested a refund, but that was only after the 90-day period had passed. The seller will not provide a refund or exchange even if the part fails within 90 days of use. Defective part and the seller did not stand

Pros
  • Valves and parts
Cons
  • Reliability

Good distributor at a low price.

I bought this because my 2002 Honda Accord had an oil leak. My mechanic replaced the o-ring, but it continued to leak a little at the junction of the distributor housing and cylinder block. So I decided to try to buy and install. It wasn't difficult to replace him. After installation, the car ran much better. Unfortunately, the oil leak got worse and worse. So I bought Permatex Ultra Black from Autozone and applied it to the block and manifold and it stopped the leak completely.

Pros
  • Ignition parts
Cons
  • Minor problems

Easy replacement and good performance

I live in Japan and own a HONDA car (LA-RA6). Because the distributor shaft seal broke, an oil leak occurred and parts had to be replaced. But only the seal from the manufacturer is not included. The manifold assembly needs to be replaced. If I buy this part from a HONDA dealer, the cost of the part is about $500 or more. the cost of a new distributor I ended up buying these parts from this Revain in the US. Because it's a lot cheaper than buying in Japan, even if you add international shipping

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • The list will be long.
