Just a small air intake.

The first order arrived and only had a small air intake. I returned the order and the same thing. I will come back and order another filter.

Easy installation. Aggressive sound.

or fuel economy. A clear, hoarse engine noise can be heard. It's a Jeep, so noise doesn't really bother me. I like it very much and am very satisfied with AIRAID.

Good sound! for air intake

Just installed. The instructions aren't great, but the youtube videos can't help you! After the installation, I got to work. I have to say it sounds incredible! The sound has a V8 feel when you squeeze it hard. In terms of performance, I'm not sure if it's placebo or something, but I felt a little more energetic. Very satisfied with the product!

Be prepared for extra cab noise on the Autobahn

I have returned this item. My fiancé couldn't stand the extra engine noise on the track (our gladiator is fully stock). It sounded cool when revving up the engine or accelerating quickly. The quality was good. I have no doubt it delivers the extra performance it claims, just not for me.

Simply! A little noisy in the filters

Installation was quick and neat. Lightweight and fit is comparable to factory. The review window is a bonus as you can see the status of your filter. Kick back - a bit noisy when pedaling hard. Normal - adds a slight purr, like a kitten. I think it will get better with the installation of a new exhaust. Great addition to Gladiator.

Happy happy happy on air intake

This air intake fits! Above all. It was very easy to install, I also added the throttle body gasket at the same time (the red part in the picture). When I received the package, one component was missing. I called the company and they mailed the part to me quickly with no questions asked. The JT sounds a lot better under acceleration and definitely sounds a lot more springy!

Poor manufacturing quality control

4 pre-drilled bolt holes to attach the filter base to the airbox are very off center 1.5m This caused the bolts to tear off the brass inserts. While this prevents unfiltered air from entering the engine, a fair amount of engine air is bypassed, effectively removing "cold” air from the cold air intake. Due to the lack of precise understanding of how this happened, the filter base appears to have decreased by 5% overall.

UNCUT AIRBOX! even the old one

I've been installing Airaid filters in my cars for a few years and I have nothing but good things to say about them, while I ordered one for my wife's new gladiator everything looked great, just that one Air inlet on the box was not cut! I'm guessing the quality manager let up or it was built Friday afternoon. This is not a problem for an experienced mechanic like me, but it can cause problems for some. I will continue to use Airid due to the quality and the luck I've had with it, just stay…

Florida Jeep best in spare parts

I've been using air intakes since 2001. I've had them on everything from trucks to Mustangs. Received this kit today and was about to put it on and the airbox that surrounds the filter didn't have the hole that should have been for air entry. I looked at the photos and cropped my own based on the image I saw. I can only assume that the airbox I received was matched to a tube, but I'm not exactly sure. If you don't have the right tools, screwing on the airbox will be very difficult. The intake…
