🔖 AIRCARE HDC411 Wicking Humidifier Filter Replacement, 4-Pack Review

I have used them in the past but recently bought a set of these and an Emerson filter set. I have to say that Emerson filters have a much better build quality. More accurate, more consistent and I believe the glue method makes them stick better. Check out the photos for yourself!

These are the only ones that fit in my humidifier and they work great. But they only last about 2 months before needing to be replaced. This may be due to the mineral content in my water. Not sure. Adding Essick4ir to the "bacteriostatic treatment" will help extend their lifespan. I order 2-3 times every winter.

I ordered these filters for my Kenmore humidifier because Sears seems to have run out of the filters. They fit well and work very well. They absorb water and capillary action in the filters pulls the water up where an internal airflow evaporates the water and carries humidified air into the home.

These are not the original filters that came with my Sears humidifier. I've used them for the last 2 seasons after carefully ordering the originals for over 5 years. I was concerned about the quality but Sears wasn't available so I tried them. They're clearly better than the originals, so I got lucky. You will be lucky with these filters too. Update: March 2018 - Another year that I only needed one set of filters for the whole season - October/March is great!

Received these wick filters today, removed the original ones, dull and uncomfortable, installed new ones (perfect fit) in my idylis IHUM 10-140 humidifier. The humidity percentage on my indoor-outdoor weather station dropped from 28% to 45% in less than half an hour. The humidity sensor on the humidifier worked again, stuck at 20%. I don't know anything about durability, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Everything else 5 stars. If you have a humidifier like mine, I would highly recommend these

These filters are perfect for my humidifier. The good thing about these filters is that if they're a little too big, you can just snap off a piece. They are easily "adjustable" so if you get a slightly larger size you can make it smaller by clicking on a section! Love it! They last about 4 months but I also live in the country and the other 25 acres of our land is a gravel pit so we get LOTS of dust at certain times. They are great at filtering dirt!

The filters supplied are MoistAIR HDC411 filters. What was not included in the description is the size of each individual filter. Each is 11 x 2 3/8 x 6 1/4. I use them in the MoistAIR Emerson HD12110 and they appear to be slightly shorter (at 11 inches long) than the stock filter. The only other difference is that the original filters had 4 balls of plastic/urethane adhesive, while these only had 3. However, they seem to work well and what struck me is how much better they work than dirty…
