AIRx HEALTH 16X25X1 Pleated Filter Review

The build quality of these filters is good and solid and they catch the same amount of dirt as the 3M red filters I have used in the past. But the pressure drop they have is much greater than that of the 3M model. This means that as your fan picks up more dirt, it has to work harder to push the same amount of air. And anything that works harder wears out faster. It only took about a week for my system to trigger the pressure sensor on this filter.

These filters are advertised and labeled as MERV-13 but I would really like to see confirmation of that rating. I'm very sensitive to airborne particles and pollution to the point that if I don't have a MERV-12 or higher I'll get a sinus infection. I have not received any promotions for this. I recently bought these because the filters in my area were barely working due to the terrible fires in California. So far I'm impressed with them. I wish I knew how much money I've wasted buying 3M filters from Home Depot over the years. These filters are as good if not better than the 3M filters and are literally half the price. The box they come in is the box you should keep them in. The date of the last filter change was stamped on the side. They just arrived and I have replaced my old filter. They are 30% cheaper but identical to the previous filter pack I bought from Revain. The same quality of filter material, exactly the same frame, same markings and identical dimensions. This filter cost me $100 in support calls and a lot of heartache. First, the seller of AIRx HEALTH is 100% false advertising. Why does Revane allow this? It hurts a lot of people. I wish I could read the reviews as many people say the filters are advertised incorrectly and are the wrong size. How the heck are these filters 4 1/2 stars?
