I drive a truck for a living and my air conditioner is broken, I bought two of these and they work great! You will be amazed at how powerful the fan is! I've bought battery powered models with 8" fans, but they definitely work the best!

I bought this fan for our 32ft pontoon boat. My dad is in a wheelchair and can't go in the water so I wanted him to be comfortable in the hot weather and this fan is fantastic. We live in Florida and had 115 in our car today Our young daughter has to reverse in her car seat and the air conditioner doesn't reach her well. I installed this fan on the rail just above her car seat and it works great. She seemed much more comfortable and now the cool AC air can reach her much better. happy customer

I returned it in exchange for another one because it was so noisy I thought it was defective. Loud hum/"bad bearing" noise. I got a second one, it's even louder, it rattles more and there's no fastener. Made in China. A classic example of you get what you pay for. The second one went in the trash and I'm going to the local store to buy something better.

I drive a Postbus and in the summer the internal temperature reaches 100. The fans built into our trucks are dirty and blow hot air straight out of the engine so I needed something I could for fresh ones , cool air put near the window. I love it because I can attach it anywhere I need it and it blows really well! I read all the reviews and decided to try this fan. I turned on the fan and checked the clock in the car. When I plugged it in, it was very loud, after 1:30 seconds it became quiet. After 8 minutes it went from high speed to SUPER slow speed (blades barely moving slow). I tried adjusting the speed but it didn't work. I can't say anything about durability yet, but it looked good and worked great. It's very quiet, but moves a lot of air. The speed controller turns the silent movement of a tiny amount of air into a powerful wind with endless adjustments. The clip gives me more angles and mounting options than other fan clips I have or have had. Because I don't respond well to most purchases, I sit in my car and read on my Kindle. This is in Northern California weather.
