I really like these. I first bought them to clean the inside of the durable drinking straws that come with some glasses and kids' drinking cups. Works perfectly. I've also used them to clean out small funnels and work around the base where the kitchen faucet attaches to the granite. Did a great job.

I have regular straws in my bottles, nothing unusually big or small. I used the larger of the two sizes in this set and they don't clean very well. The bristles are very soft. As if they were made for use on easily scratched surfaces. I had to save my money and tools from McGyvered.

I was out on business one day and had a small iced coffee with me that I made at home. Sitting at a stop light, I grabbed my coffee and was horrified to see the dry chocolate protein shake in my straw. Evil! My straws are now as clean as new after washing. I will never live without straw brushes again.

I have several stainless steel straws and just bought a pair of silicone straws. I ordered these cleaning brushes to have on hand - very useful! I like that there are 2 brush diameters; The smaller ones are suitable for stainless steel straws and the larger ones are ideal for large silicone straws.

We have a lot of plastic straws and we prefer them because they are better for the environment. We also drink a lot of smoothies through these straws and needed a good way to clean them. These brushes do the job. I just wish the bristles were a little stiffer because it would be easier to remove food debris. The straw still needs some soaking, but it's better than the paper towel alternative.
