Ideal for use with trendier denim colours. I managed to match one of the colors to the jeans I altered for a client.

I used this thread as a top stitch on a pair of rust colored twill pants. When I was done I washed them in cold water and the top seam of the tread was completely white. Very, very disappointing.

This thread feels stiff and tight but is so curly/bouncy that it is very difficult to work with. It begins to dissolve immediately after winding. Instead of lying flat when no tension is applied (by the needle, not the fabric) it will curl into curls and detach from the needle. The colors are really beautiful.

I alter and hem jeans - the most common request. Color matching has always been difficult and to make the thread look thick enough I had to double thread the machine. It's the right thickness, runs smoothly through the car and the color choices should work with most stuff I get. . I bought these to hand sew, not machine sew. I like that it's thin and strong enough to just use thick thread, as double thread is much more prone to knots and needs to be threaded twice as often. However, the "internally bound" thread should not fray and separate into layers when cut, which is bad. This makes threading the needle almost impossible without a needle threader.
