ALLOSUN Digital Thermo-Hygrometer with Humidity Alarm & Long Probe: High-Quality Humidity Monitor and Dew-Point Meter Review

I did not expect scientific instrumental accuracy from such a cheap hygrometer. But this one was so far away that it was useless. I have 3 other hygrometers and bought this one to measure dew point (which it estimates from temperature and percentage humidity). While all my other gauges read about 60% (temperature 71 degrees Fahrenheit), this one read 72% humidity. I sent it back as defective.

This is a product that I have needed for a while. My only wish is to have a louder alarm, although this may require a mains (rather than battery) powered device. The humidity measurements are surprisingly accurate for such a cheap device. Has worked for 9 months and in Michigan it seemed like it might work properly although the humidity and dew point didn't seem to change much.
