Should have done this a long time ago. It definitely speeds up the process of attaching the hose ends. I think it's a little overpriced, but it will pay off if you're making a lot of AN braided hoses and fittings.

This little beast is for you. I just received mine today and in 10 minutes I assembled four AN6 ends. Without them, I fumbled and tried to route braided line. As noted in the video, you can also do this with frayed ends. Love it and will buy more for AN8 and AN10.

I find this absolutely essential when making steel braided line. I made some stainless steel lines for my race car. At first I just couldn't connect the SS line to the AN fittings. That made it not only easy, but also possible. Please note that the fittings are REVERSE THREADED. When screwing the hose into the fitting, it turns counter-clockwise, not clockwise!

My fingers are grateful to the inventor of the Koul tool. These are amazing things, and the composite material stands up perfectly to harsh conditions. My only suggestion is that the gaskets that help the user fit snugly in the holder should be strong. Having a washer with a hole makes it easier to see and measure how far you need to insert the hose into the fitting for a perfect fit. However, this is a small detail that does not detract from the good build and functionality of this tool.

I use them for AN fittings to make braided lines. Have you ever had to insert hose into an end fitting without killing your hand, hose or fitting? These things are very EXPENSIVE but will save you a headache. I recommend them if you want to make custom lines for your car or whatever.
