Good size, smooth, we all like it for massage. I also love holding them when my hands get sore or cramped. The only point of criticism is that one warms well, while the other is always noticeably colder.

I am a massage therapist and I bought some salt stones to use during my massage. They were either small or uncomfortable in the hands. I was concerned about their height and weight when I first received them. They fit well and you don't notice the weight. They have become another extension of my hands.

They arrived quickly. They heat up quickly and get very hot, but also cool down quickly. One came with many cracks, the other is fine. I bought 2 sets of these massage stones. When I first got them I rinsed them under the sink and let them dry. There were crystals on the stones and they were not smooth at all for the massage. After a little research I found that I shouldn't have flushed them too often because it causes crystals. I took some fine sandpaper and they are nice and smooth again! LOVE these stones so far. We just received an order yesterday afternoon; I have used the stones twice on massage clients. They work GREAT. They're larger than you might expect, but in my opinion they're not difficult to use or hold in your hands. They are very warm and keep you warm for a long time.
