I am a nurse and I sometimes work night shifts. I clip it to my gown and when I walk into a patient's room I don't have to turn on the big overhead light that can upset patients! I have two of these little lights for walking my dog at night. I had this flashlight for about a month and it fell out of my clothes several times before losing it forever. All I did was walk the dog. I'm not sure how good it will stay for runners. UPDATE: December 3, 2017 I attached this light to my dog when I took him out last night as I forgot to buy new microphone batteries which I usually use. Then it rained. Please do not buy - repeat do not buy - this lantern if you put it on your dog and he/she jumps or shakes his/her body to shake off rain water for example. Fur while it's his/her turn. The light can go out. After turning it on again, it may not work in the desired mode either. Two unfortunate designs contribute to this problem…
