Surprisingly great!

I bought this primarily so my car wouldn't have ridiculously tall and old fashioned antennas. I don't even listen to the radio so I didn't care if it worked, but to my surprise it's actually even clearer than standard antennas. Make no mistake!

  • Weight
Cons
  • Very expensive

Super short with no loss of reception

I was looking for a replacement for a standard long antenna and I'm glad I came across one at Revain. Delivered quickly, assembled faster than unpacked. I love it and recommend it to those who want to leave the old factory.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Functionality

Very easy to install

I dropped this little stick on my 2019 Colorado because I was tired of the factory antenna banging against the garage door. also car wash trips. I haven't noticed any drop in radio reception despite living in a fairly urban city

Pros
  • Niche best
Cons
  • Something different

Unique way to make your car stand out

I love the unique design he gave my car. But because the antenna is so short I now get slight crackling and hissing, poor reception when walking into a covered area or my work parking lot. Additionally, it's a unique way to break away from the now all-too-common shark fin antennas.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

Off to the car wash!

Great idea! Easy installation with low reception drop. Lots of bad reviews about no signal, I don't know what people think. You cannot reduce the length of the antenna without sacrificing quality. To expect anything else is frankly unrealistic. Don't want to watch your factory antenna break in the car wash? Get one of them. looks sharp does the trick Just go in with reasonable expectations.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Weight

Mechanic's Opinion

I bought this for no other reason than it was a nice option to remove the ridiculously long factory antennas that connect to the air hose to force air into the tires. I don't use the am/fm version of so.perfect. I read other reviews and the opinion of mechanics: the rubber seal is not worth a damn. I had to cut one of the universal threads to allow the antenna to sit flush. I threw away the gaskets and made a strip of clear sealant. Wipe screws, sealant. Boom! Did.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Not bad

The supplied struts had to be redone to fit a 2005 Pontiac Vibe

Quality looks decent but the supplied threaded struts had to be redone to fit a 2005 Pontiac Vibe. They were all too long, causing the antenna to rise about 1/4 inch or more from the base of the antenna. I had to use a Dremel cutting wheel to shorten the threaded post to allow the antenna to screw properly into the base. The antenna base and the attachment point of the antenna base on the car are also not suitable. I used one of the rubber grommets/spacers that came with it to fill in the odd…

In a nutshell best in Antennas

The reason I wanted to change antennas in the first place is because I don't need an AM/FM antenna at all. I only listen to XM Radio. (More than 20 years ago. They named a satellite after me. JK, but still) On my pickup trucks and large SUVs, I just removed the antenna. Since they were bolted to the bracket and not the mast, there was no chance of damage or corrosion. On my current car, when I remove the antenna mast, it creates a screw hole in the bracket that can leak or rust. But I didn't…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Problem
