I was very disappointed with this bit. I had very high hopes for this but was very unhappy to find out how unbalanced it was and could easily damage my spindle. The dead sign was the minute I turned on the spindle, it was very noisy and I put my hand on the spindle to detect excessive vibration. Check your bits when you bought them to make sure they are balanced and won't damage your hardware.
I bought this bit after trying several cheaper 60 degree bits and noticing the angles were wrong (one was 58 and the other was 61). I wanted to try a more professional piece, but when I got this one, it felt like the blade wouldn't go all the way down to get the exact center of the cutting diameter. Because of this, a 1 mm thick dome appears in the lower part of the slices. Imagine the drill deviates by 0.5 mm and makes a complete revolution. The point is to make a circle 1mm in diameter andβ¦
This is the best nozzle you can buy for making CNC signage. I started with inexpensive bits and tried a lot of them. I thought I was saving money but I actually spent a lot more than I thought I would. I finally found an Amana tool and decided to try the carbide V-groove bit. They were way better than the cheap stuff I started with, but wore out quickly (for me since I like wooden signs). Not only does this now give me a sharper, cleaner cut, it lasts much longer and I can replace the carbideβ¦
