    Saddlebag lost in accessories

    Saddlebag dropped and destroyed by 18 Wheeler. I bought these to keep my bags more secure and eliminate the worry factor during the long drive from Florida to Sturgis and back. A week and a half later while they were on the bike I lost my saddlebag on the freeway and it was hit by an 18 wheeler and now I have to replace the bag because it looks more like confetti than anything. DON'T SPEND MONEY ON HER!

    Fair price good product

    This product is of good quality and fits my 2011 Road King. This is about 10 minutes installation using a narrow slotted screwdriver to remove the original clips. You can go to a hardware store and buy them for half the price but I value my time more so I paid a fair price for a good product. They are more anti-theft than the standard swivel, which can be removed from the back of the bag with a quick screwdriver. These prevent it.     Baggage cream puff

    I had to tighten it several times and in the end I decided I just need to use some kind of screw lock. I didn't want to use screw lock because it interferes with easily removing your bags. But I did. since i did it I made myself comfortable and checked out about 5 times without checking my luggage. Both bolts on my right bag came out fully and my bag flew, slipped and tripped on the freeway. I wouldn't recommend them unless you can afford to change your bags that often because of the dampening…

    They got the job done with some extra gear.

    These work but fail if you don't use semi-permanent threadlock. I'm a fan of belts and braces so I used threadlock and added stainless steel wing washers and lock washers to keep them secure. Much cheaper than the RickRak SureKlik bolts which would be the only other bolts I would consider if I didn't go down this humble route. The only other drawback: The plastic handles are quite thick and quite, but not quite, protrude into the saddlebag. Also, they are continuously threaded, so these threads

    Best in luggage

    That's why I installed it in the hope that the fear of losing the bag would go away. Thank god was the first trip club. The guys behind me stopped me and when I stopped both bolts on the left bag came loose and the bag actually threatened to fall off. If we were still on the freeway, he'd be gone.
