Bought these shelves to hold my favorite books and decorative items. Pretty easy to assemble. Before you begin, make sure you've marked the front and back of the shelves. I put two shelves back to front and had to go back, but overall the build was pretty easy. Brass L-brackets are fitted under each shelf for added strength. They're quite attractive for laminate shelves, and they look like real solid wood enough to match the rest of my furniture. Very happy with it. I would buy this again.
