Decent deck brush with durable polypropylene bristles

This deck brush is pretty decent. Rubber bumpers fit the brush head well, not flimsy. The bristles are made of polypropylene and are approximately 1.5 inches long, while the brush head itself measures approximately 12 inches by 3 inches. All in all a decent brush head, I'll be using it on a concrete patio and I suppose I really feel it should at least contain some sort of pole, even a short one that could have been cut to fit into one smaller box. I'll take it to a hardware store and try to…

Does not fit well with standard broomsticks.

As the name suggests, the threaded hole on the head of this broom does not mate well with standard broomsticks. I tried it first with a plastic broom handle and it barely screwed on. It seemed to hold up normally, but when I started using it the little handle in the head broke off. Luckily it didn't ruin my broomstick as only a small piece of the threaded end broke off. Then I tried a wooden broom handle and it screwed in a little further, though not all the way. I could use a broom with this…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Large and bulky

I went to our local Big Box hardware store to find a handle for this brush. I assumed a mop or broom handle would do, which turned out to be too big when I bought it. I had a smaller mop handle at home from a mop I no longer used and it fitted perfectly. It's definitely smaller, so take that into account when looking for a grip. As far as how it works, it's fantastic! I was looking for something to put in the shed outside that was a little wider than the standard broom you use in your kitchen…

Quality product but you must bring your own pen!

This product should really be called a replacement brush as it has no extension cord and is practically useless without it. My guess is that this way you keep shipping costs down (and you don't need a long pen box). But the marketing isn't very clear on this, and there's even a photo showing a pen. I think the larger text refers to the handle sold separately. Luckily I was able to use the handle of an old mop (the thread size was the same) and found the brush to be very good for outdoor hard…

Nice compact size but difficult to find the right grip

This is a good little brush. Perfect for our small enclosed patio. It's soft around the edges so hitting the walls doesn't cause damage, and it's soft enough for our slate floor. It says it fits a mop or broom handle, but we tried two different broom handles and neither fit properly. We ended up using the handle from our big push broom, but it's a bit annoying as we have to switch them back and forth. We'll have to take it to the hardware store to make sure we find a pin that fits (and stay…

Makes sweeping a lot easier

My old broom is made of wood and steel and is too big and heavy for my needs. I use a lithium powered cordless blower to sweep most of my patio, driveway and sidewalk. But I still need a broom to move the piles of leaves and sweep up the remaining small particles. That's where this brush comes in. It's plastic, but very well made. It's durable and lightweight, which is a big plus. I had an old metal pin with the right thread. The head of the brush is threaded like a paint stick. It works well…
